According to a recent study in the British Medical Journal, exercise can be just as effective as medicine when it comes to heart disease patients. In this study, which covered close to 340,000 participants, scientists discovered that exercise can even be more effective than drug treatment.
Although less than 48% of adults exercise enough to improve their health, according the the World Health Organization, all it takes is regular, moderate physical activity. Walking, cycling, or playing sports on a regular basis can all contribute to your health in a significant way.
