How to Use the HELIOS Back Extension Station

The HELIOS outdoor fitness back extension station exercises the lower back, buttocks, and hamstrings.

For best results: 3 sets, 10 reps

Make sure that your feet are firmly hooked under the foot pads.
It is very important that you ensure a good fit so that you are held firmly when you start the exercise.

Position your body on the steel board. You need to be far enough forward so that you can flex the upper body at a right angle.

Cross your arms on your chest.

Slowly lower your torso until approximately your upper and lower body form a right angle.

Extend to the starting position and stretch upward just slightly so that there is a gentle reverse arching of the back. Don’t push it too far.

For best results complete as many repetitions as you can while maintaining proper exercise form.
