Central NS Correctional Facility

Located in Dartmouth. NS, Central NS is the largest provincial facility in Nova Scotia. The offender population is made up of provincially sentenced, remanded, parole suspensions, immigration violations, and newly sentenced federal offenders. Announced in 2015, Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility will undergo renovations over the next several years to change the configuration of the offender units to the direct-supervision model. Part of the upgrades included 4 new Apollo 12 Station Multigyms for the four new secure airing courts. Capacity: 370
