KEY POINTS FOR THE BOX JUMP EXERCISE
  • Jump onto the plyo platform, landing with both feet on top.
  • Jump back down from the plyo platform.
  • Repeat until tired.

Stand in front of the plyo platform.

Jump up onto the plyo platform, landing with both feet on top. Jump back down from the plyo platform, then immediately jump back up. 

Repeat the exercise movement for as many repetitions as possible. 

Box jumps on our Apollo and Helios plyo box station use explosive strength, speed strength , and vertical jumping power to complete the exercise. In box jump training you work all of your leg muscles and strengthen your core using your own body weight. Box jumps also boost endurance and improve your cardiovascular health.
