Upgrade Your Park This Summer with Outdoor-Fit
Spring has arrived, and with that, Summer is just around the corner. There is no better time to consider new additions to your park than now. In this blog, we will show you what’s possible and showcase one of our outdoor fitness equipment installations, completed in 2023, at Robert Burns Park in Los Angeles. Made possible with a private donation through the Los Angeles Parks Foundation, this outdoor fitness site highlights how well-designed, durable, customizable, and tamperproof fitness equipment can enhance your park and encourage physical activity for the whole community, regardless of fitness levels and abilities.
With the installation of an Apollo Multigym and two Everest Cardio Climbers at Robert Burns Park, visitors now have access to high-quality outdoor fitness equipment that promotes well-rounded workouts covering strength, cardio training, and endurance. This outdoor fitness initiative perfectly aligns with what the Los Angeles Parks Foundation set out to do when they decided to help enhance this park for residents. By installing this equipment, outdoor exercise is now accessible to everyone from casual park-goers to parents wanting to exercise while watching their kids to regular fitness enthusiasts.

Why Outdoor-Fit was the Right Choice
Our outdoor fitness equipment is designed for unsupervised public use, is secure, and is durable in any environment. Below are some reasons why Outdoor-Fit was the right choice for this project.
- Compact, space-efficient, and customizable design. Finding space in parks can often be a challenging task. Our compact equipment, with multi-user capabilities, maximizes equipment usage without requiring a large space. The installation at Robert Burns Park features stations for full-body exercises and doesn’t occupy too much space. To help preserve the park’s natural appearance, they opted for their custom green coloring, which also matched the LA Park Foundation’s signature green.
- Tamperproof and low-maintenance equipment. While placing outdoor fitness equipment in an unsupervised setting can be risky, our equipment's robust construction and weather-resistant materials ensure that it can withstand the rigors of outdoor use and will have a long lifespan.
- A variety of exercises available. The Apollo Multigym, paired with two Everest Cardio Climbers, is an excellent choice for communities, parks, and recreation departments looking to provide fitness options for everyone. This combination features bodyweight training, adjustable weight resistance training, assisted strength training, and cardio training, all on a single pad. With the Apollo's multiuser ability, this site can support seven simultaneous users.
